Starting under Saddle
Under Saddle Training; includes introduction to saddle, rider & bit, forward-free transitions and establishing positive responses. Eric prefers to have the young horses a good three months, so as not to rush anything.
Each horse is an individual and how far we can go within a certain time frame all depends on the horse and what has been done so far. Untouched 3 year olds take a lot longer than one that has been handled regularly.
