Training for your Horse

Most people have experienced sending their horse off for training or buying a trained horse. What you quickly learn is that many times, the training does not stick. Soon enough, the horse is back to his old issues or developing new ones. One of the reasons for this is that there is a big difference between "training" and actually creating a horse that cares about what you need from them and tries to partake in the relationship.

Training can only take place successfully if the horse has learned to try for the human and they experience that their evasions do not work. A horse needs to learn to focus on the handler/rider and keep a running communication going instead of being held a hostage or having their own agenda. This is where training for the human is also needed...

For the troubled or problem horse; includes issue evaluation & diagnostics, behavior modification and realistic resolutions.  Problems range from basic manners and halter breaking to issues trailer loading and under saddle issues.
